Our Security Services personnel are fully-trained security personnel who are:

Computer literate – e.g. Ms Office Suite
Mine site compliant
Fully licensed
Trained in site safety and Drug & Alcohol testing
Maintain fitness standards at Rescue level
Minimum Standard Senior First Aid Certificate with upgrade to Occupational First Aid
Coal Board certified (Rescue)
Kitted in approved PPE and safety equipment
Regularly reviewed for their performance

Vehicle compliance by ER24 Security staff is our contribution to mine safety. ER24 is aware of the contemporary vision of Zero Harm, and commit to hazard/ injury prevention.

Light vehicles have been involved in a significant proportion of fatal and high potential incidents. Identified causes and contributing factors that ER24 Security staff will monitor and report on include:

Driver fatigue
Risk taking behaviour
Driver experience / competency
Driver distraction
Inappropriate speed an/or not driving for the conditions
Vehicle stability and serviceability
Vehicle condition (tyres, brakes, etc.)
Alcohol and drugs
Poor visibility
Light vehicle interaction with heavy vehicles, mobile equipment, plant and pedestrians
